Ameriplan - Freedom At Home Team
Keys to success
What does it take to be successful working from home?
I have been with 2 different companies. The first attempt at working at home was a failure for me. The
second one a huge success. In fact I was the #7 Top Producer in my current company this year. Last
year I one a cruise to Alaska, this year the company sent me and my husband to Quebec Canada.
I'm the same person with the same desire to work at home. So why did th first company flop and the
second one get me home to be with my kids?
I think there are 3 key factors to being a success at home. You must have all 3 or it just won't work.
There is a high percentage of people that join that never hear from their enroller after they enroll. This is
true in every work at home opportunity. They have no websites, no training, no support. Also, many work
very part-time and never get around to their training.
The Freedom At Home Team is the fastest growing team in Ameriplan. It's due mostly because we
have so much training. Even with all the training, I do have members on my team that are not bringing in
a paycheck. These are usually the members that never attend training calls or answer my emails.
I believe that success in any home based company relies upon 3 key factors:
1) You - did you get through the training? Do you actively work the business? Are you dedicated to
making it happen? So even at night, after you get done working your full-time job outside the home,
you're still working to do your Ameriplan business when you get home at night. You're willing to work
during your lunch hours and on weekends. I did. It took me 18 months to leave corporate America, but I
did it. I'm never going to have another boss again.
2) Company - does the company make sense? Does it have a proven track record? Are others
succeeding that you can learn from? Does the internal structure of the company make sense? Does the
product/service make sense?
3) Support - do you know what to do? when to do it? how to do it? Is someone showing you how to be
successful?
I personally believe that if you don't have all 3 of these key factors that you won't achieve success.
If you have #1 and #2, but no support - you're wasting your time.
If you have #2 and #3, but you don't 'step up to the plate' - it just won't happen.
If you have #1 and #3, but the company is a looser - then you hitched your wagon up to a failure and
there's no way you can win.
This is just my take on things. I worked a Melaleuca business for 2 years prior to Ameriplan and I had
#1 and #2, but no support. I wasted so much time re-inventing the wheel and doing everything wrong.
When I came to Ameriplan and joined the Freedom At Home Team I received the support I needed
from a top-notch company. I'm the #7 Top Producer in the country this year. I was #17 last year. I've
been the #9 top enroller nationwide for the last 2 years.
Just my take on it all.
